My name is Jacob Kristian Ingle and I am 18 years old. I was born and raised in Winston-Salem, NC. Currently I am student at Cape Fear Community College in Wilmington, NC. I love the outdoors, particularly the beach and the forest. My hobbies include exploring new places, learning new skills, and meeting new people. Because of my multicultural background, I am able to explore and be accepted by so many communities.
One of my passions is for all scary things. I love to explore abandoned places. I probably have more first-hand scary stories to tell than anyone my age should. Many of my friends have been dragged along on ghost hunting excursion deep into the woods in old abandoned barns and dilapidated farmhouses. My family’s annual elaborate Halloween parties are still the talk of the town. It is great fun for me to help organize and bring out the crowds. I am a natural born leader.
Another one of my proudest high school experiences was creating and producing a volunteer winter festival for special needs children in my hometown. These children are often overlooked or avoided, and it was with great pleasure that I helped orchestrate an event that helped them make friends and enjoy an evening of simple fun!
My hope for the future include pursing a career in the film industry and I got an awesome head start by collaborating with my uncle, director Daniel Peddle, on our indie film Sunset Edge. For this film, I helped create the story, pick the creepiest locations, find the cast, and work in the art department. Perhaps more importantly, I also starred in the film as a leading man and became the narratives hero! This was an incredible bonding experience for my entire family that I will never forget and it is extremely thrilling to see our work find a larger audience!
